Today is Tuakana Teina day with room 4, This means coming together and working with a student from another class. The buddy that I am working with is Rebecca. She thinks Netbooks cool because you get to play games and you can search for  information and its quicker.

I think that children are allowed to have television in your rooms because if we don’t we would be bothering your parent in their room.

But then if we do have television in your rooms we might be using most of the power and instead of watching the same program in two different rooms we could all watch it together in the some room and also use less power.

  

What I Did I The Weekend

What I did in the Weekend
In the weekend I went to the library with Romeo and Joaquinn but first picked up Bella because when we got there we saw Beautiful, It was about 3:00 and saw Timothy and then later that day meet up with our new friends Niki,Leena, Glydia,Kahu and Jimmy, while we hanged out and talked we saw a ball and then started to play touch.

Later on that Saturday Night about 6:00 we catch the bus to Pakuranga

Cyber Smart - Smart Footprint

• What is a digital footprint?

Everything that you do can leave a trace and thats a digital footprint. Also it can get you into trouble or can help you in life.

• What does the word ‘reputation’ mean? How does this word relate to ‘smart footprint’? The beliefs or opinions that are generally held about someone or something.

      

• Describe your digital footprint - what kind of online reputation do you want to have? We want people to talk positive to us so if they talk positive to a person then they get respect.

• Identify at least 5 effective ways of having a smart online digital footprint.

1. Writing bad things about someone or something.
2. posting bad photos of someone or something.

Unique:Hi my name is Unique

All three of us:We are year 8 students That study at Tamaki Primary School and for reading this week we were doing a novel call Under The Mountain.

Unique:Hey you guys that book looks interesting what is it about?

Renee:I’m reading “Under the Mountain” by Maurice Gee

Unique:Those books sound interesting what are they about?

Salome:Mine is about how this girl named Kirby lives with her mum and then her mum leaves to South Africa and Kirby goes to live with her mum’s brother who is very religious and has never heard about and then they change her name from Kirby to Esther and she hates their rule and wants to find out why her mum left her.

Renee:And mine is about two twin brother and sister who have an awesome, but dangerous destiny and only those twins can stop the terror of what is under the mountain, which are Wilberforces people, who are slug people in disguise.

Unique:Salome why doesn’t Kirby like her uncle’s rule and why did they change her name to Esther?

Salome:Kirby doesn’t like her uncle’s rules because she thinks there too harsh and unnecessary and they changed her name because their religion only give names from the bible when a child is born or a person has been accepted into the religion that is called “The Children of the Faith”.

Unique:Renee what happens to the Matheson twin and how do they stop those Wilberforces?

Renee: They got these magical stones and they drop it to the wilberforces tunnels and they all explored.   

Unique:Those books seems interesting Renee and Salome but can you tell me more about it.

Meanwhile I was just into my music so I didn’t really take notice. As I got to Main street I realised something weird, something I hadn’t seen before a dog with three legs dragging his self past me whining. I was going to burst out laughing but I stopped for a second, then continued to walk again. I passed a house with purple flowers and then next door a house with yellow and pink flowers on the window. Passing all the houses on Main street with their different coloured flowers. As I got the shock of my life walking even know something was going to go wrong I didn’t want to nearly to my friends house Courtney and I was dieing to give her some of my latest clothes I had just brought, Two hours away from her street 19 ave thought that i was taking most of the day also I was texting her and she told me she was going to Wellington for the weekend and her mum said that I was able to go with them if I asked my mother. As I got to her house two Hours later she gave me a big hug and rushed me inside holding me by the hand, then she asked me if I had ask I told her that I was going to text her a soon as I had gotten to your house “what are you waiting for” she shouted. I finally called my mother, she sounded like she was in angry mood but I got around to her, so I asked in a silent voice so she didn’t start yelling and then I higher my voice a little bit louder and the louder and she just said “sure have a good time darling”. When Courtney’s mom decided to drop me off to get some gears ready for the trip, my mother wanted courtney's mum to stay for a tea or coffee so Courtney can help you to get all your things ready for Wellington I like nearly flew up stairs with my friend, we almost pack most of the things in my closet and were done “haha” we Laughed. “should we go down” stairs I said “Nah lets just wait until they yell out” “I can’t wait until We get down to Wellington” I muttered “Why she said” “ Because we get to see the different malls and shopping centers and we get to by thing!” “Harray” we both yelled girls” Courtney’s mom yelled “Came on As soon as we got down to Wellington the next Morning. We jump out of the car and went straight to the nearest mall and that was across the street Stopping in the middle of the road ARR! I yell And bang It hit me I had the worst feeling shutting my eye feeling the pain around my body and I could hear it was like a scratching sound but couldn't see through the darkness in my eyes, then all I saw was instead blackness and all I know is that I blacked out in only a few seconds blacking out was the scariest thing thats ever happen to me but knowing that I got hit by a truck was one of my worst nightmares. I flicked my eyes a bit also rolled them couldn't feel most of my bones inside me but was frightened out of my skin not knowing what was happening to me and what damage. I just laid still falling back into a deep sleep. I think three hours later I wake up with a shock with my eyes still closed thinking they were wide open but couldn't move not even a inch, trying to move my pinky and thumb but it just gave me a blastful of pain, thinking what my family is going to do when they found out what this terroir had done to me and what Courtney is thinking,thinking that she nearly killed me or she hurt me really badly when it was just the starting of our amazing trip to Wellington. Opening my eyes a little seeing all the doctors and nurse by my side getting all the sharp object that got stuck inside me, dozing off when they put the oxygen marks on my mouth and the last thing that I saw and heard was the weeping of my mum beside me. About a long time since I saw the doctors I magical open my eyes but there was a problem with my under stomach my intestines,The doctors say that I needed a tube to eat and to drink.A few hours later I closed my eyes and went into a deep sleep. Suddenly I open my eyes and i’m in my room I thought I must of had a bad nightmare then I thought I didn’t have my stitches so I lifted my top and I had no stomach

Freestyle Writing

Crossing all the platforms nature can see,reaching out to the unforgettable sites and to uncover the snowy and whispering mountains, carry our heavy amounts of luggage on your unstable body’s, Scurrying through the thick, heavy sands and  "The view is so pretty" Mark Muttered under his breath trying not to lose his warmth, so they continued walking and looking up and seeing how far they had to go

"haahhaa"

you could hear from the mouths behind.Two hours later they found out their legs stopped moving because of the coldness and then this Rumbling sound comes from the distance they tried to move but they weren't budging and the noise was getting closer by the minute,then suddenly out of know were a pile of frosty snow spirals were rushing down towards them and the only thing that they could feel was the cold breeze and brightness in their stomachs

"AAAh" they keep yelling.

The snow spirels rushed them with no hesitation,it was dark it was darker than dark piles and piles fill of snow was covering their scraps of bodies and the only thing that was keeping them warm was the dead skin falling off their toes, still couldn't move not even a inch thinking about water,air,food and want to do until the snow melts also seeing how we are going to get yourself back on our feet.About half an hour later they started to call for help because the snow wasn't melting they tried to open their mouths and speak but their wasn't any space to move their lips.Running out of air and trying not to starving and waiting for help.

Three more hours went past "tick tick" and they still hadn't moved and still didn't have food in their systems, inside of their bodies their bones were fighting and couldn't feel their blood flowing throw their bodies to find warmth,then on the corner of my eye I could see a drop of rain and then two drop and then another it was melting the piles of snow faster and faster and before you know it there was not that much left,I looked up to see the beautiful blue sky and it was gray  with patches of black spots but there was one problem our bones had been stuck together and won't be able to be free until the sun is out.

One hour has past Mark,Alex,Zayn,Charley,Louis and Nick are still getting stepped on by the rain,another rain cloud connected and made a rain storm maybe lighting five minutes later a spot of a light gazed upon Charlie's leg they all had big fat smiles on their faces, they all just started to laugh "hahahaha" they they all shouted with excitement.They jump up with amazement hoping to still walk up Mt Everest Looking and trying to remember these uncovered secrets,five more steps tell the top looking at the sun while its coming it out and also seeing those black spotted clouds fly away.Walking into the forbidden pathway everyone has been talking about was their favourite part.They continued to walk with their heads held up high and with less clothes.

Further we walk made us more exciting and couldn't wait to see something magnificent and is  there was gold hidden in the handles were you hold or the water underneath was chocolate and little people handing out money and lollipops fill of chewing gum "what a dream"they all laughed, picturing that in their head they kept walking they wanted water and food really bad just hoping that this pathway was going to give them some.They go to this very ugly tunnel it had creepy insect c rolling through the gaps and thinking of walking through this was impossible but wanted to get to this place so they all decided to walk together. About 5 minutes later they had enter a cave entrance underground looking forward and there was a ice pathway they had to walk over, one step onto this bridge and it made a big long bridge along the side.

When we were trying to solve this problem we wanted to get over as quickly as possible so they decided to walk one by one across this broken bridge but when we got up to 4 friends we had a friend that was scared of higher so he fellow the one before him and it made a bigger crack and a part of the ice bridge had fell down the long drop, hey all ran across quickly but if fell just in 5 seconds, Walking about wondering walking around just hoping to find this place. We walked in a straight line covering the ground and one of our friends fell into a tunnel and we tried to help him and we all made the tunnel hole bigger so then now all of them was able to fit in together, Finally they got down to this pathway were their wasn't really anything special about it but in their heads they through there were gold hidden in the handles were you hold or the water underneath was chocolate and little people handing out money and lollipops fill of chewing gum but really it was just and good adventure.
